What is a permanent bracelet kit?
A permanent bracelet kit lets you and a loved one create matching, clasp-free bracelets at home — no welding or salon visit required. Once secured, the bracelet is designed to stay on as a lasting symbol of your bond.
What's included in the kit?
Each kit comes with 2 bracelet chains, 2 locking clasps, a wire cutter to trim to your perfect fit, and pliers to secure the clasp shut.
What material are the bracelets made from?
The bracelets are crafted from 316L stainless steel with 18k gold plating. They are hypoallergenic, lead-free, and nickel-free — safe for all skin types including sensitive skin.
How do I put the bracelet on?
Wrap the chain around your wrist to find a comfortable fit — snug but not tight. Trim any excess with the cutter, then use the pliers to close the locking clasp securely. We recommend having a second person help for best results.
Can I adjust the size once it's on?
No — once the clasp is closed, the fit is permanent. Make sure you're happy with the length before closing it. If you're unsure, it's better to start a little longer as you can always trim more.
Can I wear it in water?
Yes! The bracelets are water-resistant and safe to wear in the shower, pool, or sea. Avoid prolonged exposure to harsh chemicals like bleach or chlorine to keep them looking their best.
Will it tarnish over time?
316L stainless steel is highly resistant to tarnish and rust. To maintain shine, avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, and cleaning products. Wipe gently with a soft cloth when needed.
Can I take it off if I need to?
Yes. While the bracelet is designed to be permanent, it can be removed by cutting the chain with the wire cutter included in the kit. Once removed it cannot be re-locked, so keep this in mind before cutting.
Will it set off metal detectors at the airport?
No — stainless steel is non-ferrous and does not set off standard metal detectors. You can travel freely without removing your bracelet.
Is it safe for MRIs or medical procedures?
We recommend consulting your doctor before any MRI or medical procedure. If removal is necessary, simply use the wire cutter provided to snip the clasp. Medical staff can also assist with removal if needed.
How long will the bracelet last?
With proper care, your bracelet can last for years. Avoid snagging it on clothing, bags, or rough surfaces. Remove during high-risk activities like contact sports or heavy lifting to prevent accidental breakage.
